Should I Pay For An Invoice Template?
Okay so theres a million and one different
invoice templates available online, and most of them are free.
So why on earth would anyone want to spend money on one? Well
the answer is, not all invoice templates are the same. Whilst
most are adequate for the job, others are much more complicated
in their nature, and require much more sophisticated formulas
and overall design.
Using a basic invoice template to send to a client for some handy work around the house, may be fine. But it may not be suitable for a multi million dollar company who needs to send an invoice to another business for products or services rendered that entail hundreds of thousands of dollars outstanding. Not only are these invoices generally more complex, but they are legally binding documents, which need to be 100% accurate and without error.
This includes every detail right down to tax, surcharges, and any other miscellaneous expenses. In most cases free invoice templates are fine, however there will always be those few exceptions where a paid invoice template is required.
